The gala dinner organised by the Japan Delegation at the Chinzanso Hotel in Tokyo took place on Saturday 26 May at the presence of H.R.H. the Prince of Piedmont and Venice Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy, President of the Grand Magistral Council of the Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy. The evening saw moments of musical entertainment, demonstrations of olympic judo alternating with convivial moments with Dames, Knights, Authorities and friends of the Dynastic Orders.
The gala dinner was preceded by the introduction to H.R.H. The August Prince subsequently illustrated the “Royal House Of Savoy Educational Program”, which was started by the Japan Delegation last year and has now come to its second edition. The course aims to propose and spread the values of chivalrous tradition in modern society, from elementary school to university. The initiative achieved significant results, with sixty-eight students completing the first edition of the course.
Furthermore, the Delegation has begun to promote an art foundation to support young emerging artists by establishing the “Bacon Award” and the “Tokyo Award”. The second edition of the award ceremony is scheduled for October of this year.
