MONTECARLO – As every year, on November 19, Monte Carlo celebrates Sovereign Alberto II and the Grimaldi Family. The numerous ceremonies begin with the solemn Te Deum in the Cathedral to thank the Sovereign, to whom the entire population is extremely devoted.
The Mass is celebrated by Archbishop Berbard Barsi in the presence of T.S.H. Prince Albert II, Princess Charlene, H.R.H. The Princess Carolina and H.S.H. Princess Stephanie.
A group of Knights of the Order of Saints Maurizio and Lazzaro, at the invitation of the Ministry of State, attended the church mantle at the Ceremony together with the Orders of Malta, Holy Sepulcher and Constantinian.
At the end of the religious ceremony, the knights went in procession along the square in front of Palazzo Grimaldi to attend the delivery of the medals of benevolence from the Sovereign to the various military bodies of the Principality, the parade of the latter and the traditional greeting from the balcony in the presence of the sons of Prince Albert II, The Prince of Honor Jacques and Princess Gabriella and all the grandchildren.
The Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy, supported by their association, are historically dedicated to works of charity and solidarity in Italy and abroad, thanks to the many delegations which spread and promote the activity all over the world.
