Los Angeles, April 6th 2019. The 2nd edition of the “Savoy Evening in Los Angeles”, organized by the Savoy Foundation with the attendance of H.R.H. the Prince of Piemonte and Venezia Emanuele Filiberto di Savoia donates the evening’s proceeds to Catherine’s Club, http://www.caterinasclub.org/.
The Catherine’s club association provides care for children from economically disadvantaged families. The association offers warm meals to children and helps their parents find a job and housing in California.
On April 6th2019 a gala dinner was organized by the Savoy Foundation on behalf of the Royal House of Savoy Dynastic Orders in support of this partnership and its charity work.
Apart from H.R.H., among the event’s 200 participants there were several important figures such as Counselman Joe Buscaino, the president of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in L.A. Nicola Serraggiotto, and the American public official Mike Gatto. Elisabetta Canalis, Hofit Golan and many other celebrities also attended.
The evening was stocked with entertaining activities, such as a charity auction organized by H.R.H. Prince Emanuele Filiberto, which yielded around 100.000 $ for Catherine’s Club. To this day, more than 3 million dishes of pasta were donated to the association. Moreover, thanks to the gala evening’s donations, it will be possible to move 20 families from motel rooms to more adequate housing. During the gala dinner, H.R.H. Prince Emanuele Filiberto di Savoia drew everyone’s attention to the importance of doing more charity.
