On the evening of Friday 10 May, the Mid Spring Cocktail, organised by the Milan Vicariate of the Dynastic Orders, took place at the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum in Milan.

The event, hosted by Baroness Camilla Bagatti Valsecchi and Antonio D’Amico, Director of the Museum, was attended by over 50 members of our Orders, friends and supporters, who enjoyed an exclusive tour of the Museum’s rooms.

During the event, the Deputy for Milan, Comm. Dott. Alberto Gustavo Franceschini Weiss, and Cav. Dott. Giuseppe Talamazzini presented the Fondazione Villaggio della Madre e del Fanciullo – Impresa Sociale, which will receive the charitable funds collected during the events organised by the Vicariate in the first half of the year, in line with the commitment made by the Delegation with the summer gala dinner in 2023.

On the morning of Saturday 11 May, a conference entitled “La Legione Tebana e Sant’Alessandro Martire, tra storia, religione e mitologia bergamasca”  was held at the Domus Alexandrina in Bergamo, organised by the Orobic Vicariate of the Dynastic Orders.

After a welcome address by the Deputy, Dott. Enrico Rodolfo Nosari, Dott. Claudio Alebardi of the “Amici del Museo Archeologico di Bergamo” Association took the floor. Mgr. Giovanni Carzaniga, canon of Sant’Alessandro in Colonna and chaplain of the Dynastic Orders, Prof. Guido Cervo, a well-known and respected author of historical literature, and Prof. Eleonora Caccia, philologist and author of the essay “Una testimonianza iconografica della colonna della Basilica di Sant’Alessandro in Colonna a Bergamo”.

The conference was followed by a charity luncheon, the proceeds of which were donated to the “Più Vita agli Anni” project, which the Delegation is supporting in the first half of this year.
