In the evocative setting of the charming town of Calasetta, founded in 1770 by the Sacred Religion and Royal Military Order of Saints Maurice and Lazarus, at the behest of H.M. Carlo Emanuele III, King of Sardinia and Grand Master of the Order, the Delegation of Sardinia celebrated again, after a year of forced interruption, albeit to a lesser extent, on 22 September, the Patron Saint San Maurizio.

The Regional Delegate Knight Grand Cordon Noble Professor Enrico Sanjust dei Baroni di Teulada updated those present on the activities of the previous year and highlighted the prospects of the Dynastic Orders in Sardinia, which will take shape as a result of the imminent necessary reorganization.

Together with the Delegate, are present in church clothes the Commander Brigadier General Pierluigi PASCOLINI, the Commander Enrico DE MURTAS, the Commander Dr. Alberto LAZZARDI, Consultor of the Senate of the Kingdom, former President of the Military Court of Cagliari, the Knight Officer Dr. Antonio Vigo, former Mayor of Calasetta, , the Knight Grand Officer Remigio Scopelliti, former Mayor of Calasetta, , the Knight Grand Officer Dr. Massimo Falchi-Delitala, the Noble Knight Don Massimiliano THE MARCHESI DI MORES IS MISSING, Knight Giulio FLORIS, the Dame Dr. Anna Rita ROMBI, the Knight of the Military Order of Savoy Pietro PISU, Knight of the Military Order of Savoy Sisinnio PUTZU, the Dame of the Military Order of Savoy Silvana BIANCU and the dear Marshal Giacomo CIARALLI, standard bearer of our Delegation.

The Knights and Dames marched in procession with Cloaks of the Church to the Council Chamber together with some friends and sympathizers of the Dynastic Orders and the Royal House of Savoy, where they were received by the Mayor Dr. Claudia Manca and other exponents of the Municipal Administration. Also present at the ceremony, in fraternal sharing, was a representative of the National Institute for the Guard of Honor at the Royal Tombs of the Pantheon.

The focal moment of the meeting was the unveiling ceremony of the reproduction of an ancient portrait of H.M. the King of Sardinia Carlo Emanuele III, a gift from the Delegation to the Tabarchino Municipality, and which will remain permanently on display in the Council Chamber, as a perennial grateful memory of the Savoy Sovereign, who ultimately founded Calasetta.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants attended a solemn Mass at the Parish of San Maurice and at the end of the celebration a donation was made to the works charities of the Parish of San Maurice.
