SARDINIA, JULY – AUGUST 2023
The Sardinian delegation completed the charity project in support of the Salesian volunteer association IL SOGNO on 31 August. The association is chaired by Rev. Gaetano Galia, chaplain of the Sassari penitentiary.
The funds raised, totalling €2,950, were used to support several minors under the care of the “IL SOGNO” Association, as mandated by the Juvenile Court. These funds were used to give them the opportunity to spend a summer at the La Maddalena summer camp.
For the past ten years, the association, under the leadership of Rev. Galia, has been committed to providing the young residents in its care with the opportunity to enjoy a short holiday, giving them moments of carefree joy and positive memories during a period of their lives marked by separation from their own families.
The Sardinia Delegation with its Delegate Avv. Comm. Massimiliano Manca di Mores, together with the Vice Delegate and Deputy for Cagliari Cav. Gr. Cr. Nob. Professor Enrico Sanjust di Teulada, President of the Heraldry Commission and Member of the Council of the Orders of the Royal House of Savoy, and the Deputy for Sassari, Comm. Enrico De Murtas, are committed to promoting and running a permanent project to help the most needy in their area.
