On the evening of Saturday, June 8, 2024, the summer gala dinner of the Lombardy Delegation of the Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy was held in Milan, at the Automobile Club Palace, in the presence of the Grand Master Prince, H.R.H. Prince Emanuele Filiberto.

The evening, attended by approximately 140 guests, was dedicated to fundraising for the “More Life to the Years” project by VIDAS; thanks to the generosity of the Dames and Knights of Our Orders and some supporters, the subscription and the gala dinner allowed to donate 16,000 euros to VIDAS for the project.

During the evening, which began with the Royal March, the Grand Master Prince mingled with the distinguished guests. In His speech, after recalling the figure of His Father, He highlighted the aims of the Dynastic Orders with particular mention of the projects carried out by the Lombardy Delegation, and invited all present to continue with even greater intensity along the path already traced.

Also significant were the speeches by Dr. Ghisleri, Vice President of VIDAS, who detailed the “More Life to the Years” Project, which involves the creation of a nursing home through the restoration of some seventeenth-century structures in the Forlanini Park in Milan, dedicated to elderly patients who do not have access to home care, and the intervention of the President of ACI, Dr. Antonino Geronimo La Russa, who warmly welcomed H.R.H. and the attendees, highlighting the close ties between the House of Savoy, the Kingdom of Italy, and the creation of RACI, now ACI.

A heartfelt thanks to the Delegation Councilors, to the Vicars who displayed their flags, to all those who worked for the success of the evening, to the associations present, especially the Savoia Cavalleria Stables, which displayed a historic Ansaldo Tipo 10 car from the Sommaruga collection in the hall.
