The Campania Delegation of the Dynastic Orders of the House of Savoy, headed by Comm. Gerardo Mariano dei Principi Rocco di Torrepadula, has recently started a fruitful collaboration with the International Constantinian Relief Corps ONLUS, chaired by Don Pierluigi Sanfelice dei Duchi di Bagnoli, Grand Officer of the Order of Saints Maurice and Lazarus, to set up a Basic Necessities and Solidarity Bank for the most disadvantaged areas of Naples and Campania.
This project was inaugurated with a visit to Naples of H.R.H. Prince Emanuele Filiberto di Savoia in May 2019, during which a Charity Gala was held at the Officers’ Club of the Italian Navy in Naples
Since H.R.H. the Prince of Piedmont and Venice was especially enthusiastic about sponsoring the initiative, the President of the International Relief Corps asked Him to be the first member of the Honourary Committee of the International Relief Corps, together with H.R.H. don Jaime of Bourbon of the Two Sicilies.
The partnership has sent a strong message of unity in the care for the neediest in the Naples area and in the rest of Campania.
