It is with profound sorrow that the Dynastic Orders of the House of Savoy join H.R.H. the Grand Master in mourning the passing of Monsignor Gian Franco Troya, a figure deeply connected to the House of Savoy and to the city of Racconigi.

For many decades, he was a valued and faithful presence, representing a living continuity with the history of the House of Savoy and with the traditions that have accompanied its journey.

With his passing, a precious link with the history of the House of Savoy and the traditions of the Dynastic Orders is lost, as well as one of the last Royal Chaplains.

The Dynastic Orders of the House of Savoy will remember him with gratitude and affection, honoring the loyalty, dedication and chivalric spirit that he embodied throughout so many years.

We join H.R.H. the Grand Master in expressing our deepest condolences to his family, to the ecclesial community of Racconigi, and to all those who had the privilege of knowing him and sharing his friendship.
