On the evening of Tuesday 23 January, a private vernissage was held at the Sheraton San Siro Hotel in Milan organised by the Vicariate of Milan. The event was graced by the presence of HRH Prince Michael of Yugoslavia for the unveiling of his photographic exhibition entitled “Naturalmente. Paesaggi, territori e stemmi” [Naturally. Landscapes, territories and coats of arms].
HRH engaged warmly with the guests present and delivered a profoundly meaningful address. Coordinated by Vicar Comm. Dr. Alberto Gustavo Franceschini Weiss, the speech not only traced the paths of art history, but also delved into the motivations that inspired HRH to explore beauty through photography. He shared personal anecdotes from his childhood and memories of TT.MM. King Umberto II, Queen Maria Josè and the Royal Family.
The proceeds of the evening, together with those of the forthcoming events organised by the Vicariate of Milan, will go to the Villaggio della Madre e del Fanciullo, continuing the work initiated last year by the Lombardy Delegation during the summer gala in the presence of HRH Prince Emanuele Filiberto.
