NEW LARGE DELIVERIES TO LOCAL HEALTH FACILITIES IN THE MARCHE AND TUSCANY THANKS TO THE COOPERATION AND COMMITMENT OF THE DYNASTIC ORDERS OF THE HOUSE OF SAVOY

Between Thursday 7 and Monday 12 June, a large quantity of medical supplies were delivered in the Marche and Tuscany thanks to the intervention of the Order of the House of Savoy, the coordination of Cav. Uff. Flavio Lucentini and the ready availability of the Delegate for the Marche Gr. Uff. Dr. Walter Pellegrino and the Deputy for Viareggio, Comm. Alessandro Santini.

In particular, on 6 June, the Marche delegation of the Dynastic Orders of the House of Savoy handed over a large quantity of disposable nitrile gloves (840,000 pairs = 11 pallets) worth 75,600 euros to the Italian Red Cross in Marotta (in the province of Pesaro-Urbino). The Delegate Gr. Uff. Dott. Walter Pellegrino, the deputy delegate Uff. Giuliano Vichi and Cav. Luca Guerra, who is also a member of the Marotta Italian Red Cross, were present at the delivery.

Between 9 and 12 June, around 500,000 vinyl and nitrile gloves, 60,000 surgical masks, 500,000 needles, tens of thousands of syringes and four pallets of protective suits worth over 450,000 euros were donated to the Viareggio Green Cross.

The Viareggio Green Cross will then distribute the material to associations in Versilia, Tuscany and as far as Emilia Romagna.

There were numerous expressions of gratitude from public institutions and authorities in their respective areas, who said they were open to possible fruitful collaborations in the future.
