THE BRAZILIAN DELEGATION DELIVERS FOOD IN SAO PAULO DURING THE COVID-19 EPIDEMIC

The Delegation for Brazil of the Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy led by Mario Antonio Turnaturi, Delegate of the Royal House of Savoy, also thanks to the initiative and the contribution of some precious Knights such as Comm. Roberto Frizzo, has made an extraordinary contribution to the Parish of St. Antonio de Barra Funda in Sao Paulo, to help those who, among the neediest families, have been affected by the Covid-19 health emergency.

Brazil is among the States most affected by the disease and, as part of Savoy’s knightly tradition, the Delegation acted immediately to bring relief and solace to the local community, “according to the spirit of the Gospel”, as stated in the Knight’s Prayer of the Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy.

Around a hundred food parcels have been donated for as many needy families who turn to the Parish out of necessity. The effort was very much appreciated by the Rev. Father Claudio, who expressed his heartfelt thanks for the unexpected help and highlighted the difficult situation the community is in at this moment.
