The Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy, through AICODS, have decided to support Mus-E for the third consecutive year with a unique educational project involving seven Italian cities to combat child poverty in schools.
The funds earmarked for this activity, which came from the charity gala luncheon of the General Chapter of the Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy held in Geneva last October, were designated for the organization, with which the Grand Chancery sought to identify a unique project involving several Italian cities from north to south.
“Fantastic Animals” is a workshop with a single leading theme that is declined according to different artistic disciplines. Unicorns, phoenixes, dragons, mermaids: these are the imaginary animals that populate ancient tales, the coats of arms and shields of knights, but also the dreams (and fears!) of children. The choice of a common thread seemed the best way to create a unique project of its kind, able to bring together virtually all the children involved and further strengthening the idea of collaboration and multidisciplinarity.
The work of all the classes will then be brought together within a page on the Mus-E website, in the “Special Projects” section, and will also be published on our website, as well as shared through the official social media channels of the Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy (Facebook and Instagram). The end of the workshops will be celebrated in the presence of HRH the Prince of Piedmont and Venice Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy on May 19 in Turin.
A warm thank you to our Ladies and Knights who made it possible to carry out this project and especially to the Lombardy Delegation, which for several years has distinguished itself in its charitable efforts by supporting Mus-E Milano on its own.
