TOKYO – The first charity event organised by the Delegazione per il Giappone degli Ordini Dinastic di Casa Savoia (Delegation for Japanese of the Dynastic Orders of the House of Savoy) was held on 27th October, in the ultra-modern capital of the country of the Rising Sun, to collect funds for the Japanese Red Cross.

A great Gala lunch organised in the wonderful setting of the Imperial Tokyo Hotel, designed towards the end of the XIX century by the Japanese architect Yuzuru Watanabe and redesigned by Frank Lloyd Wright in the 1920’s.

The event was attended by more than 350 illustrious guests, including representatives of the Japanese Imperial Family, ambassadors, members of the nobility and naturally representatives of the Japanese delegation of Orders.

All met in the presence of his Royal Highness Prince Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy and His Excellency the Grand Chancellor, Knight of the Supreme Order of the Most Holy Annunciation Johannes Theo Niederhauser, to share unforgettable and convivial moments.

The guests of this elegant evening enjoyed a wonderful show and concert, making the event even more precious and unforgettable with the collection of a considerable donation for the projects of the Red Cross.

Various famous personalities who, during the event, were welcomed into the ranks of the orders, including the film director Mike Takashi and the famous singer-song-writer Exile Atsushi who performed during the evening.

The next event organised by the Japanese delegation will be held, again in Tokyo, on 20 May 2018.
