On Sunday 28 April 2024, a Mass was celebrated in the Cathedral of Saint-Louis des Invalides in Paris in memory of His Royal Highness Prince Victor Emmanuel, who died on 3 February last.

The Eucharist was presided over by H.E. the Most Rev. Mgr. Antoine de Romanet de Beaune, Military Ordinary for France.

Several dignitaries and members of the Royal Family were present, including H.R.H. Princess Maria Pia of Savoy, eldest sister of the August Prince and eldest daughter of TT.MM. The dames and knights of the French delegation joined their prayers to those of the Royal House of Savoy, demonstrating their loyalty to it and to the Grand Master of the Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy, H.R.H. Prince Emanuele Filiberto, Duke of Savoy, Prince of Piedmont and Prince of Venice, who succeeded the late Prince in the leadership of the Savoy Knightly Forces.
