On Saturday afternoon, August 19, 2023, the 1st Fundraising Event, hosted by the Irish Delegation of the Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy, was held in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and raised a total of €3,819. All voluntary contributions have been donated to the Irish Cancer Society and will be used for cancer research.
Approximately 100 patrons, benefactors and guests gathered on the summer afternoon for a BBQ, dancing, and live jazz music by the Martello Jazz Band.
The event was a concluding part of the online fundraising campaign, organized by the Irish Delegation earlier this summer, continuing the spirit and tradition of charitable giving and hospitaller care of the historic Dynastic Orders of knighthood of the thousand-year Royal House of Savoy.
