Tokyo, 20 November 2022
On November 20, a charity event was held in Tokyo in the presence of H.R.H. the Prince of Piedmont and Venice Emmanuel Philibert of Savoy, after three years of inactivity due to the pandemic and despite the restrictive measures still in force in the country.
The ceremony began with the investiture of the new Dames and Knights, followed by the granting of some awards intended for those who have particularly distinguished themselves in providing a contribution to society and to the neediest, according to the chivalrous spirit which, for centuries, has animates the Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy.
The participants shared emotions, values and a convivial moment. The evening was enlivened by traditional dances and music, a karate demonstration and a piano concert.
Proceeds from the event will go towards the educational project in schools: “Royal House of Savoy Chivalry Excellence for Children”
