For over a month, the Delegation of the Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy in the Marche has been taking care of a Ukrainian family of six (two parents and four children aged between 3 and 15) who had to leave their country to escape the horrors of the ongoing war.
Coming from Kiev, after an adventurous car journey through Hungary and Slovenia, the family reached the Marche, where they found hospitality in the municipality of Treia (in the province of Macerata).
The Delegation of the Marche provided the family with a fully furnished flat, obviously free of charge, assisting them in all bureaucratic, health-related and educational matters, in order to give these fleeing brothers and sisters a glimmer of hope and consolation.
At present, the children have resumed their studies and have been placed in local schools.
For the near future, various work possibilities are being considered for the head of the family.
A small Delegation with a big heart!
