A very special award, the President’s Volunteer Service Award, was given by the President of the United States of America Donald Trump to H.R.H. Prince Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy for the philanthropic and charitable activities supported by the House of Savoy and in particular by his Dynastic Orders in the United States in recent times.
Specifically, H.R.H. received the Gold Medal of the President’s Volunteer Service Award.
The prestigious award given by President Trump was established in 2003 by former president George W. Bush and is given to individuals and volunteers who engage in philanthropic and voluntary work across the United States, donating time and resources. Depending on the number of hours of service provided, individuals or organizations may receive the Bronze, Silver or Gold Medal.
In 2019 H.R.H. the Prince of Piedmont and Venice promoted numerous initiatives which, thanks to the commitment of the American Delegation led by Cav. Gr. Cr. Dr. Carl Morelli, have contributed to great acts of solidarity for the most needy, which have often been reported on our official website, for example the Night of Savoy.
We send our deepest congratulations to H.R.H. Prince Emanuele Filiberto for the prestigious award and our most heartfelt thanks from all of the Savoy Knightly Forces for his precious coordination work in charitable projects not only in the United States of America, but also in the 38 Delegations all over the world.
