Christmas is always the long-awaited feast of the year, a feast on which everyone or almost everyone should be driven by a Christian and charitable spirit, a feast on which gifts are exchanged.
It is precisely because of this chivalrous spirit that unites all the delegations and vicariates of the Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy that we celebrate Christmas.
Below are some of our many initiatives. Please note that those that are not mentioned are no less important. You can always follow and be updated on our charitable work by following us and donating on this site in the dedicated pages.
THE AMERICAN DELEGATION, thanks to the New York ball, which has just ended, has raised funds to support the philanthropic mission of the Savoy Foundation – Chivalry for Children’s Causes – and the event’s main beneficiaries – The Cooley’s Anemia Foundation and the A Chance In Life Organization, formerly Boys and Girls Town, which provides care and assistance to abused and abandoned people.
THE UMBRIA DELEGATION CONTINUES TO SUPPORT THE AIUTAMIOLI A VIVERE FOUNDATION AT CHRISTMAS
The Delegate for Umbria, Cav. Uff. Avv. Giovanni Ranalli, paid a visit to the President of the Aiutiamoli a Vivere Foundation to make a donation from the Delegation for the important mission the foundation is carrying out for the hosting of Belarusian and Ukrainian children in Italy during the upcoming Christmas holidays. The donation will be used for the children’s travel and accommodation expenses.
The Foundation’s letter of thanks and the photo of the delivery of the cheque are attached.
THE MARCHE DELEGATION, in response to an appeal by the mayor of Treia (in the province of Macerata), Dr. Franco Capponi, has for the second year running handed over prepaid vouchers to the mayor to be handed out to families in need, in the hope that this will help relieve the hardship they are experiencing.
THE SYRACUSE VICARIATE has donated a large amount of foodstuffs to the parish priest of San Paolo Apostolo, Don Rosario Lo Bello, to be used for the Christmas banquet which will be held on 18 December in favour of needy people in the parish.

Please note that the Sicily Delegation has launched a fundraiser to support the non-profit organisation CBM Italy, which will end in February.
THE LOMBARDY DELEGATION has taken on a new charity project together with ACI Milan in favour of the Milan Red Cross, after donating a scholarship to an IED freshman.
THE FRENCH DELEGATION organised a charity event in early December in favour of the Hospitaller Works of the Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy for the Patriarch of Jerusalem.
Many more Christmas events have just ended. They gave us the opportunity to raise funds in the name of the Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy to support local charitable projects and to be always present where there is most need.
